woah. I was stunned by the bad service at this place. we had heard good things from some friends who like to stop when they drive the military-ridge state road and thought we would try. all over the place, except the beautiful location, was as good as best. I would suggest the grumpy troll in mount horeb or the great dane in madison if you were looking for a good burger. unless they like cheap beer, bar food and a heavy dosis 'tough' bikers that get so disgusting that they do not appreciate the location.
comfortable. this is a small cozy bar, a little dated, but it is all they would want in a country bar. beautiful people, nice service, cheap food and has beautiful landscape. I would recommend it if they wanted to escape the madness of the inner madison. you can drink a beer and laugh.
Great little place off the beaten path. Random recommendation by an awesome lady named Renee at Kwik Trip. Sugar was an amazing host/bartender. Great drinks and great conversation. Wish it was closer to home for me.
Great destination for good pizza, beer, live music, and vibes. Had a great time playing here. Looking forward to next time. Gotta check this out!

Always a good time. Incredible food extremely kind staff and the new owner cleaned out the cig tar from the 90s. It's just right.
