My husband and I hosted a private wedding event for about 40 guests at Ripplewood. We were looking specifically to have a casual cocktail party, rather than a sit-down dinner, which was surprisingly difficult to find in this area. We were happy that Ripplewood offered the option, as we are big fans of the restaurant. (The dine-in experience gets a five-star review from me as well). The food and drink options were taken directly from their regular menu. The pork ribs and bao buns were major crowd-pleasers. The drinks were delicious and meticulously crafted. And the staff were accommodating in every single way, from setting up extra tables and chairs in the event space to letting us stay a lit...
The service and the atmosphere tend to vary a bit. But the food is consistently delicious. Their menu, food and drink, is well designed. And even though it's not the closest, hell there are a hundred restaurants between us and Ripplewood, they've managed to get it right every time we've been there no matter the amount of foot traffic or time of day.

Consistently great food, drinks and service. Good for a date night but even better for a group of 4+ so you can share a bunch of small plates and try as much of the menu as possible. We are very lucky to have this place within a 5 minute walk of our home.
