This cafe rocks if you are on a lookout for a good breaky or a lunch place....especially if you are in or around Altona or Laverton Creek. The Steak Sandwich is why it gets a full 5. Omg! Melt in your mouth, flavourful and so filling....it's something that shouldn't be missed. That does not mean their special Zucchini and Sweet Corn fritters with smoked salmon was any less. Cherry on the cake was the coffee..umm very good. In all a perfect meal and experience, thanks to the food and friendly hospitality.
What a lovely spot for brunch! I enjoyed the crumbs with smoky flavors, and the egg was absolutely delicious. The turbulent latte was fantastic as well. The service was excellent, and the staff was wonderful, especially the young man who attended to our table—he was incredibly polite and helpful. I will definitely be back to try other meals from their menu!
Overall, it was a great experience, earning a solid four stars. I really enjoyed my Mexican-themed breakfast, and my partner was also pleased with her charcoal brioche dish. The service was satisfactory as well. Surprisingly, it was pleasant to sit outside on a chilly winter day, as certain areas of the outdoor space catch the northern sun.
