I visited on a Sunday night. This wasn't my first visit but I'm writing this review because I had a great experience from beginning to end. Prior to making my reservation I called and the hostess that I spoke to was very nice and honest about the wait times. I appreciated the great customer service from just the phone call. I believe the hostess' name was Olivia. When we arrived we were seated immediately. Our waitress for the evening was Siawaa. She checked on us often and made sure we were enjoying our food. We ordered a few margaritas, the birra tacos, chopped cheese tacos, and plantains. Everything was good!
These have to be the blandest Tacos Birria Quesatacos I've ever had. I mean, there was no flavor at all—just beef and taco shells. The consome was also lacking; it didn't have that juicy, mouthwatering taste I expected. The Red Chili Chicken taco shell kept falling apart, making it hard to enjoy as a taco. Honestly, I'm just eating it because I'm hungry. I can confidently say that I will never order from this place again. It's extremely mediocre. If you want authentic Birria tacos, go to a real taco truck.
My wife and I decided to give Rosa Mexicano a try for her birthday diner recently. We live close to this Suburban Square location and had visited the last incarnation of a Mexican restaurant that inhabited this space before Rosa Mexicano moved in. All in all, we were pleased with the quality of food, service and liked the informal ambience. The bar area was especially inviting and we'll probably be back.
Overall, most of our meal was enjoyable, but the fish taco left much to be desired. It consisted of a small piece of fried fish, a bit of cabbage, and some kind of mayo, all served on a small, tough tortilla. For $10, you could easily whip up something better on your own with a quick trip to the grocery store.

Nice new years dinner here. Surprisingly quiet. My partner thought the table side prepared guac was too salty but I enjoyed it. Our tacos and Mexican fried rice were delicious. Not rushed at all. Had the churros for dessert... really good. Will definitely be back.
Crispy Shrimp Tempura is disgusting. Hard, dry Shrimp with weird may concoction on the bottom. Beans were super dry and tasteless Chips were ok salsa had noflavor . Most disgusting Mexican meal ive ever had.
Absolutely terrible! The quesadilla tasted burnt. The guacamole was incredibly salty! The birria tacos were dry and lacked any flavor. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
Waitress was very helpful in finding the right dish for our child without too much spice. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating during our visit.

Te Tacos Chopped Cheese Alambre was incredible! The combination of burger and taco is just perfect. I get it every time!
