Family and I have been visiting pretty much weekly since the teens were born. Very family friendly with a wide range of both hot and cold food. They also have a very wide range of drinks.The cake/sweet cabinet is always well stocked and in a very good way, rather deadly.With extremely rare exception, we have found the food fresh and tasty, and in all cases the service excellent.Coffee wise, the barista has changed over the years, and on occasion they have been in training. But, if your coffee is not good or better, they have always been very happy to listen and change what they serve to match your taste at no extra charge.Basically, long term, very happy customers.
I'm not alone in regularly enjoying the delicious, super fresh food at Sakeena's. It's always full of happy customers including my daughter and I. We eat there at least twice weekly or pop in for takeaway sandwiches, wraps, panini and rolls. Also available is a variety of hot food including pasta, pies and pasties etc.They have a fantastic selection of cakes, slices and biscuits also available to take home!The recently renovated cafe may have changed the decor but not the healthy, delicious food and happy service.
I often meet friends here for afternoon tea and can't go past the freshly made cakes and wraps.The seating inside can get quite noisy but outside is pleasant.Each afternoon from about 4 pm, the hot dishes are packed into takeaway containers and sold for $6 each ... good for a quick meal or lunch next day. To accompany your takeaway, salad can also be purchased at 'Freddy Frapples' fruit shop, near Woolworths.The breakfast are also good value.
Just had another Great Brekkie at SAKEENAS CAFE at Weston Canberra, It has just had a refurbish and came up trumps. U can eat on the go from the inside/outside areas or stay a while for great coffee with great friendly service or have brekkie or lunch. Best fresh cakes,shakes & sweets.

We have been here many times now and the standards remain high. The meals are large and well priced. Service is quick and friendly with indoor and outdoor seating. Being outside the shopping centre it is a great place to drop into before or after shopping. Highly recommended.
I go to Sakeena's quite often for breakfast, snacks or take always. I like the huge array of lunch items and the various cakes. My last trip was for breakfast.Service is quick, not overly friendly, but efficient. The place could do with a new coat of paint.
I was shopping recently at the Coolman court shopping centre in the mid afternoon and popped into Sakeena's for a quick lunch. They had a good selection of food for lunch. I went for a meat and mushroom pie. It looked very good but it was very average.
It feels like our family has been going to Sakeena's forever - and it always satisfies. This café is an institution at Cooleman Court, Weston. It always delivers good, reasonably-priced food.

I love the homemade cakes here. Fantastic coffee shop, with good fresh food. Also has good coffee and delicious breakfasts. I especially like the profiteroles and lemon tarts.
Great coffee and hot chocolate. The morning tea snacks were tasty and reasonably priced. Service was prompt, courteous and efficient. Definitely recommend.
