Went here for dinner tonight - was lucky enough to be working in the area so this is the second time in the past week i've been here.Tonight i ordered the oysters (natural) for entree and scallops for main.The oyster were very nice, fresh anf flavoursome.The scallops were ok - seemed a little over done - still enjoyable however.The first visit eariler in the week - i also had the oysters - hard to go past - coffin bay oysters ...... very nice.For main i ordered the rib eye steak - with chips and salad.Beautifully cooked steak, melted in the mouth - plus the green peppercorn gravy was lovely.Definetly would go back.
Meals here will not disappoint. I have tried a few things in the menu and they have all been very good. The secret sauce on the Baby pork ribs was but to difficult to decode. The gourmet lamb pie is a favorite and ordered on almost every visit. This is quite a step up from the tavern next door, but while the prices are much higher, you pay for what you get. The service has been good but sometimes slightly slow for the meals to come out.
Very please with the quality of food.The only disappointment was the service. We waited half an hour for a waitress to bring us a dessert menu. They staff seemed to be looking around for things to do, but not noticing our table. I eventually caught a waiters attention, apparently they did not expect a very busy night and were short staffed.We would dine here again, the food was excellent, pricey but nice
Very surprised by the fantastic friendly service and fantastic food as good as or better than the capital cities. Fresh clean crisp meals a big change from the pub grub in Emerald. Salt Bar and Grill is an amazing restaurant! It was my favourite restaurant in Emerald before I moved due to their wide selection of gluten free meals and delicious seafood. When I took my dad there during his visit, he said it was one of the best meals he'd ever had. Great restaurant!
Absolutely delicious meals, with the highest quality of foods, and quantity was most certainly adequate! Service was prompt, n efficient...but staff could do with brightening up...not a lot of smiling happening. Very clean surroundings.
Have eaten here every time I've been to Emerald and it's always very good! Great steaks and the fried sweet potato chip things are so good! Definitely pencil in a night to head here while in town!
Visited with work colleagues in May 2017.Good sized meals we didn't have an entree, only main course. the Lamb Pie was large and delicious. Prices were around $26-$32 for main courses. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Been here a few times while visiting Emerald for work. Food is great and service has always been good. The food portions and sides are perfect.
