I recently discovered Sandtrap, and it's become a favorite spot of mine. I had a delightful lunch here, featuring terrific English style fish and chips and a surprisingly nice selection of red wines. I know it's not the traditional pairing, but I can't resist red wine, and they do it justice.Now, let's talk about those deep fried dill pickles! I'm a connoisseur, and Sandtrap's version is truly delicious, among the best I've had.Regarding service, it started a bit slow, but it quickly picked up, and the staff was attentive and friendly. I went to this restaurant for lunch on Saturday with my friend who was visiting from Alberta. I was impressed with how clean the women's restroom was, which is usually a good sign of the overall cleanliness of a place. The rest of the restaurant was just as clean, which left a great first impression on me. The menu had a wide range of options, and I chose the Greek salad. It was fresh and delicious. The presentation of the dishes at other tables was also appealing. I would recommend this restaurant to both tourists and locals. The prices were reasonable, the food was tasty, the staff was friendly, and the restaurant was clean. Thank you, Sandtrap, for a wonderful experience!
Was looking to find a good place to eat in Niagara on the Lake and saw that the Sandtrap got really good reviews so we tried it. It was so good we went again the next night.All of the wait staff both nights were AMAZING! They get 10 stars. The food we had both nights was excellent as well. Great patio to sit out and eat under cover. If you are in the area, look no further!
Was there with a large party for Super bowl. Service was great even though she was very busy. Food fantastic!. I think the waitress' name was Jeri and she was very attentive and efficient and always smiling which can be tough when you're that busy. The kitchen staff were killing it pumping out delicious food all night! Love this place.
We are locals and love the service and people at Sandtrap. Paul Matt treat everyone like family which we admire. Tonight we couldn’t get in and we went somewhere nearby. Totally reinforced why we like Sandtrap. Damn these Friday’s when we can’t get there earlier
The food at this restaurant is amazing and bursting with flavor, with large portion sizes and affordable prices. The service is incredibly friendly as well. I definitely recommend trying out this place for dinner.
One of my very favourite places to spend time, bring friends and family and even enjoy a quiet pint on my own. Friendly, professional staff and a great family owns this fine establishment.
Excellent home cooked food , very friendly staff. Prices are extremely reasonable. And the mini poinsettias are a nice touch.
