I've come here on several occasions, only because a few of my friends attend the bar. Come if you enjoy forgetful and unapologetic staff. Allow me to say that the pubfare style food is decent, however, the individuals serving the meals are clearly burnt out from the service industry and uninterested in providing an even medicore experience. If this establishment hopes to progress as a business, they would rid themselves of the inattentive staff who care about nothing but clearing the patrons from the property WELL before last call. My wife and I ate here on our trip to Niagara in June. This place is awesome. The food was great and their pizza's are delicious. We felt like a local eating here, everyone was friendly. The staff and waitress's are great and friendly. As a parent this is a family friendly place to eat which is great to know when we bring our kids here. If you want to get away from the chain restaurants that are in Niagara Falls go here.
As locals, this is one of our favorite places to eat in town. Food is great - nice variety. Their burgers are incredible and the best pizza around. I usually go for the Canadian burger and my wife does the Portabella with a salad. However, what we like most about the Sandtrap is the atmosphere. The staff and owners are very friendly and make you feel welcome all the time. As a result, the place is always full!
Our first time to this city and we were looking for a place to eat before checking into our VRBO. We discovered Sandtrap and found it to be friendly, clean, extensive menu and friendly. We ordered a Rueben and it was delicious! French fries were hand cut. Fish and chips looked amazing. Best **** Mary ever! Lots of TVs for watching the British Open. Great place and locally owned. This seems like the popular local spot. We visited on Friday while vacationing in Niagara on the lake. This is a pub style restaurant with a great atmosphere, friendly staff and good food - at an exceptional price (especially for this area). I would recommend this place for a quick, pub dinner with cheap drinks!
My husband and I were out in Niagara On The Lake for the day and ended it with a great meal from the Sand Trap. Great food Great prices Amazing service I would definitely go back
