Decent Japanese food, with nice authentic varieties. <br/ <br/ I ordered the Saba premium set, with extra tuna tataki. The Saba mackerel was delicious, the sauce and complementing garnish together with the juicy soft fish was delightful! The sides were alright, my favourite being the duck breast as it was coated in a delicious sauce. The wagyu was a cheaper grade and cut, and was a bit tough. Soba was a touch soft but other than that fine. Spinach was dry. <br/ <br/ Came here for lunch around opening time, and it got rather busy quickly.
What a beautiful restaurant! The customer service here is absolutely amazing, the waitresses are not only very polite, but their knowledge on the dishes is incredible. This makes your dining experience all the more enjoyable. <br/ <br/ As for the dishes themselves, they are served very promptly, and are delicious. I highly recommend both the beef tataki and the pork belly, and then the soy milk pannacotta that's if you still have room for dessert! Satsuki is a great Japanese restaurant and definitely a place you will happily return.
I absolutely love Satsuki; it never disappoints. The menu is crafted for sharing, featuring high-quality, tapas-style dishes that go beyond standard Japanese cuisine. For a satisfying dinner, I suggest ordering six dishes for two people. One highlight is Satsuki's signature spicy tuna tataki, which is consistently fantastic. The menu has undergone a refresh in recent years, and we find ourselves returning time and time again.
Have been going to this little Japanese gem for years. Their food is always authentic, fresh and delicious. We always come for their lunch set menu which is so reasonably priced for what you get. The tempura and karaage chicken have always been our favourite.<br/ <br/ We recommend booking before coming here because it seems a lot more people know about this place now and is always so packed. Satsuki is a fine dining Japanese restaurant that boasts an excellent location, lovely ambience, and a very comfortable atmosphere. The food is incredibly fresh, and I highly recommend trying the soft shell crab. I can assure you that you'll leave Satsuki feeling both full and thoroughly satisfied, with every intention to return and explore the other dishes on the menu.
The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is lovely. It's a pretty busy restaurant, so I recommend making a reservation ahead of time. I really enjoyed my meal, and my husband was a big fan as well! We’re planning to return tomorrow!
Always wanna try that place. The food are sensational. Sashimi sushi are very fresh but food comes out quite slow. Love the atmosphere inside, quite relaxing. Staff are very polite friendly but some staff don’t seem to be very attentive know what to do.
