This place should change its name. They are trading on the good name of Guy Scribner, a businessman of integrity who no longer appears to have any ties to this business. The present manager did some extensive work for us some years back, and we have been reaping the whirlwind ever since. Notable is a kitchen floor they installed. It is full of overcuts, undercuts, slits, etc. We have never seen a worse job. But the final straw is that one leg of our huge fridge is over a mistake cut made by the installer, and one side of the fridge is sinking into the floor. This has already cost us three service calls. I am extremely satisfied and highly recommend this service. I had three bathrooms that needed updating, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I also got a new kitchen countertop, backsplash, and flooring installed. The daunting task of choosing countertops, cabinets, and more was made much simpler. Cindy has an excellent eye for color. I had 2 bathrooms renovated by Jim and his staff and I have always been completely satisfied with his work. When I was not happy with something while the jobs were being done he would come right to the house and have his employee make it right. Even after being done for 10 years if any little thing needs looking at (which only once has happened) he will get it fixed. I definitely recommend Scribners. In fact I am having him do work in my kitchen next week and my kitchen was renovated in 1999 by another company. My review says I am from California. I am from Waterford, CT
Scribners installed a tile shower in our master bathroom. They did a magnificent job. Jim and Emily were very helpful in a detailed planning process and the final design was just what we wanted. Overall, their craftsmen were excellent, and Jim was on top of the whole process. Only the plumbing fixtures needed some tweaking. Their tile guy is an artistic genius, especially with the difficult tile that we picked out. At the end of each day they left the place clean and neat. We are very pleased with the shower and it adds a lot to the home.
A big thank you to Jim Moran and staff. Scribner's Kitchen Bath put a new Kitchen in our home years ago and we recently had an issue with paint on a couple of the doors. Jim came out and identified the problem and got everything done under warranty much to our surprise. Much appreciated. That's service after the sale!
I reached out to them to renovate a bathroom, replace the ceiling in the kitchen, and repaint the kitchen. The owner visited and made a casual remark about not wanting to paint the walls, and after that, we never received the estimate or any further communication.

Using Scribner's to renovate my bathroom was a pleasure. I had a leak that a plumber was unable to fix so I called Scriber's and Rob was able to diagnose the problem and give me a reasonable quote.
