The atmosphere is distinctly that of a sports bar, with plenty of TVs showing hockey games. The servers are friendly and accommodating. The dress code for the staff has changed in line with provincial regulations. I tried the veggie burger and found it a bit spicier than I typically enjoy; however, I understand that crafting a satisfying veggie burger can be a challenge. On the plus side, they offer a great selection of beers on tap, including a tasty local draft from Quesnel.
If you don't mind a cloud of cigarette smoke at the front door and the worn and tattered upholstery. The food is mediocre at best... drinks are drinks so whatever... the waitresses try if you are lucky enough to get the right one. The management doesn't seem to care so I'd recommend driving pass this place and stopping at any other establishment.
Thank goodness Boston Pizza is closed, or we wouldn't have had anywhere else to go after being served a moldy appetizer! On the bright side, our waitress was fantastic. I hope someone from another Shark Club comes in to train your management, as it was just as disappointing as the kitchen staff that allowed moldy bread to be served.
