Terrible experience – the food was really disappointing. I ordered Egusi and Spinach with goat and chicken, along with fufu (extra fufu, in fact). When we got back to our hotel room, I was excited to dig in, but when I opened the containers, I found there was no chicken. The soup had a stale taste and was drowning in oil. In my opinion, there was way too much palm oil, and with every bite, it felt like I was chewing on sand. It seemed like the meat and vegetables weren’t washed properly, as I encountered grit in every mouthful. I was really looking forward to a taste of home, but I ended up feeling let down. She sells spoilt food.I and my husband went there to eat and she served us spoilt egusi soup and pounded yam.I regret going there we went on vacation to miami and we have never experience such a thing.We lived in NJ and we patronize Olaide Kitchen in Sayreville nj and we were expecting the same service as Olaide kitchen in nj but I must say that we regretted our decision of eating from this disrespectful woman.We wasted our $55. I visited the restaurant on October 8, 2023, and I promised the owner that I would share my thoughts, regardless of whether my experience was good or bad. I'm pleased to report that I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of my meal. Thank you so much; I will definitely be returning! I've dined at this restaurant several times and the food is consistently good. Sheri is always friendly and knows a lot about the dishes, which is helpful for me as I'm not familiar with African cuisine. The place is always clean and well-presented during my visits. This place is fantastic! As soon as we arrived, a gentleman welcomed us, and we were promptly seated. The restaurant is spacious and well-maintained. The staff member who assisted us served generous portions. I absolutely love this restaurant and will definitely return. Customer service gets a perfect 10/10, and the food is also a solid 10/10!
