That was such a great culinary experience that I have already told a few friends and will be back! The ambience is eclectic and quiet. They will see both Japanese and French influences. White linen tablecloths, real cutlery, beautiful porcelain panels. We started with Lachs Tacos as starters along with a cucumber Mojito, pomegranate martini and a glass of Merlot. Our dinner ducks were boiled salmon fillet in dill sauce, the chest of the duck in orange sauce, and the masterpiece signature dish, the whole roasted catfish. After coming to Shiro's for 27 years, this is still my favorite restaurant for many reasons. The food is consistently amazing, plus the serving staff is friendly, attentive, and extraordinary. I love the restaurant's interior and the exterior patio dining is a lovely addition due to Covid. Thank you, Sherrill and Irene, for providing such a neighborhood gem.
I am 50 years old and have been going to Shiro since I was about 14 years old. The quality has been consistent and unchanged from food, ambiance, to service. It has been a staple for my family for many, many special occasions. Hopefully, that is a strong testament to how much my family, friends, and I enjoy Shiro.
Each dish was elegantly served, tasteful, perfectly cooked and satisfying. Interesting turns on favorites, as well as unique dishes. Portions are perfectly dimensioned. The service was excellent. This is a beautiful and unpretentious place to get a really wonderful meal. Our guests always love it.
The menu at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic, with daily specials that are sure to impress. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and the Chef's skills are truly magical. This place deserves more than 5 stars - a perfect 10 out of 5!
The food at this restaurant is incredible. There isn't a single bad or average dish on the menu. Every bite is delicious. We finished every plate. The service was good, attentive but not overly intrusive.
