I decided to have dinner here recently and the pizza has potential but was just ok. I had the Loaded Barrel which is like a basic combo pie. The crust is quite good actually, being crispy but also robust enough to not collapse when picking up a slice. And it holds up throughout the meal as well. My problem is with the toppings. The sauce, as per usual with quite a few pizza joints in LR, is bland. I wish these places would realize the importance of a hearty flavorful sauce, perhaps tomato paste-based. The veggie toppings, like onion and green pepper, are diced too small to even taste them. The better pizzas I 've had usually have large slices of veggies that you can see AND taste. I 've neve...
Their pizza tasted great fresh and hot. Maybe would have tasted even better if I got the other topping I paid for. They put a lot of cheese on the pizza(was great hot and tasted like good quality cheese), but after the pizza cooled down a bit halfway through the pie the cheese hardens and that's when you see just how much cheese they put on it. No problem if you got an air fryer to heat it back up and make it taste almost as good as is was right out of the oven. Their employees were very friendly when I picked up my pizza to go as well. Would give them 5 stars if I got the pepperoni on my pizza that I paid for. Should have checked it before I left so I guess it's partly my fault.
I am from Los Angeles, ate here while I visited Little Rock when I had a decent amount of pizza in my life and can honestly say that this is the best pizza I ever had in my life. It was boiled to Perfection, was not doughy and was not burned. It was nice to just order food, pick it up and get exactly what you wanted, what was delicious pizza this night. Shotgun Dan's came through so my apologies to my previous favorite California Pizza Kitchen, I think you were just replaced:
I have loved this pizza spot for years! It’s a little hidden gem in Little Rock Arkansas. I go home to visit and I have to get this pizza every time! It’s loaded with what ever your favorites are and it’s not your traditional pizza but the crust and taste feels like a warm hug and unconditional love! Thank you guys for always being in time and serving amazing pizza consistently for years.
Although I don't live in Arkansas anymore, if I have the chance to get back to the little rock, I have to get a Big Dan pizza. My favorite pizza ever. They're not here with the blows. I'm a big guy two slices and I'm done. The best pizza by far. The staff is always incredibly warm A 1 service. 5 stars of me again!!!
Pizza was delicious. Pizza takes a while to cook so we started with the golden nuggets and it was a big hit. The Red Rooster was my favorite, but all pizzas are delicious. They definitely skip nothing, all pizzas were loaded with cheese and toppings. We ordered a 16 and 10 between 5 adults still many remains.
Pizza was well beyond perfect!! Enjoyed my coke float with it. Didn't give 5 stars because of the wait time for the food. But there was only 1 waitress can't be mad at that she wasn't slacking either. Over all happy with my visit!

Is super great experience. The waitress was friendly and timely. We got the lunch special salad and sandwich Geronimo. It tasted great its presentation was great. Really hit the spot for a decent price.
