Sigh,I would like to update my post for I have been messaged about about what occured. I will post the pic of how my personal opinion of food was considered a spin on if I liked it or not.If anyone reads my Yelps..there are maybe 2 negative posts. Let 's clear this up: I ordered 4 items,which means 4 should be in the bag.It also means that the receipt that I receive as a customer that is itemized and charged against my credit card should be correct.I was charged for the 4 items that I had ordered on the phone.3 out of 4 were itemized on my bill but I was charged for 4 items(soon to find only 3 were given).That is a very odd receipt. I stopped by for a quick snack while out shopping and tried the vegetable dumplings, which were the best I've ever had. They were light and beautifully crafted, with a delicate pale green color, and they came with a basic tamari sauce that was a bit bland. Next time, I'll ask for either a sweet chili sauce or some hot sauce, which I'm sure they’d be happy to provide. Simply Thai is one of the better Thai restaurants I have ever eaten at, and hands-down the best restaurant of any kind in this general area. I usually order take-out, but recently dined in for the first time with my parents. They 're not super adventurous with regard to international food and definitely don 't love Thai like I do, but even my mother repeatedly remarked about how fresh and colorful everything was. 1/5 @simplythainy This place should be named Simply Stupid instead. Its 1 of THE WORST Thai restaurants ever. The appetizers (coconut shrimp) curry puffs were good. Both of the sauces were sweet tho. Can ya stop making sweet sauces? Ugh. The entrees were terrible. My cousin got shrimp with garlic sauce. The shrimp was good but the garlic sauce was sweet. I got squid with Ginger sauce. I told them to make it mildly spicy but they made it OD spicy. On top of that, the squid mushroom were extremely bland even tho the sauce was so spicy. My other cousin got pineapple fried rice which had too much of a spice in it. Everything was either too spicy or too sweet. Ugh.
My new Thai spot. Went with family and we loved each dish. I had the Massamun curry and it was delicious. The others had Pad Thai and raved. My son ate chicken on a stick with the peanut dip and loved it. We will all be back soon. I've been looking fir a new favorite spot since moving (my old Thai spot was in Bethpage-Lemonleaf). I was so surprised how amazing the food was, from the appetizers to main course. Small quaint, very friendly. Wishing they didn't have plastic plates and utensils. Perfect for a vegetarian. Will be going back often.
