We were visiting family in FSJ and said "we want to take you out to dinner to the best restaurant in town". An hour later we are picking up dinner at Spicy Fusion. Putting it on the dinner table at home it was all still piping hot. We had a nice selection of dishes - chicken tikka, fish curry, samosa, vegetable pakoras, archari masala, naan bread. Wow my mouth is watering just thinking about it. Very nice owners, clean restaurant. Kind of makes up for the winters they have to endure - maybe not. I do not do restaurant recommendations unless the place is really special. Definitely do not miss Spicy Fusion if you are in the area.
I stopped into Spicy Fusion two nights in a row on a visit to Fort Saint John. I was pleasantly surprised and so happy I did! Both nights the restaurant was very busy but I was seated promptly and my order taken quickly. This place has some of the best, if not the best Indian food I have ever had. It arrived quickly and the was piping hot. Portions were fairly substantial for a typical Indian restaurant and prices very reasonable. Service is friendly and prompt without being overbearing. If you like Indian food, definitely check out Spicy Fusion! I'll definitely be back the next time I visit.
Hot, authentic and delicious Indian food - definitely the best in Northern B.C. This is a wonderful place for lunch or a casual dinner. Service is friendly and helpful, and has been improving steadily since the restaurant opened a few years ago. We can highly recommend any of the dals with garlic naan as well as the butter chicken and lamb. Our go to place when we need something more exotic than the usual fare in FSJ. Be sure to check hours of opening as the restaurant closes for part of each day & is presently not open on Mondays.
I've been to Spicy Fusion several times. Although I am not a spicy good person, my friends are. The servers help make your decision easier or if you want to try what everyone else's is but you don't want to burn you mouth, they will scale it back for you to whatever level you are comfortable with. That coupled with great service, this spicy restaurant has become my go to when guest come in from out of town.
I had lunch with my family at spicy fusion. The Chicken Biryani was great. I had to ask that they cook it like it was an Indian who wanted it. It turned out a bit spicy but it was delicious . The waiter was very responsive and prompt.I did not get my lamb curry but I settled for the goat curry. The Garlic man was oven fresh and delicious.
Came here based the the TripAdvisor rating as was not disappointed. Had the butter chicken, half order of rice and the Naan. All were awesome, if I ordered again I would ask for a little more spice as I like it pretty hot but have learned you have to be careful ordering things Spicy in restaurants like this unless you mean it!
i love this place more than restaurant in Toronto. I have tried preety much mostly restaurant around canada. its the best food believe and owner is so friendly and take proper care of each and every client. they should expand there business all over. will be a good competition. best Indian food.
I visit Spicy Fusion regularly. The food is always excellent and the staff is gracious and helpful. It is an perfect place for a business luncheon, the dining room is quiet and the service is prompt and professional. I recommend the tandoori dishes, the fish is exceptional. ENJOY!
