With the a modern and contemporary decor and pretty cocktails to boot, Spicy Shallot is a little different from the rest of the pack. In addition to classic Thai dishes, they also have the added arsenal of a dedicated sushi bar.While it's not the biggest place, they've done a good job with the space with a mix of tables and chairs. It's got date vibes all throughout and I'd consider keeping the party sizes small here. I am really disappointed with the food quality, especially since I've been a loyal customer for over 10 years. Yesterday, I ordered beef pad thai and spicy chicken with Thai basil for takeout through Uber Eats, and unfortunately, the chef forgot to add the sauce to the pad thai. The noodles turned out pale and lacked flavor, as they seemed to have only been cooked in oil. To make matters worse, I found a black hair in my order, which was the final straw for me. When I contacted the restaurant about it, they simply replied that there was nothing they could do, but thanked me for letting them know. Came here twice, first time here was an absolute and utter disappointment, could not understand why this place was consistently packed and filled with people, ordered a chicken masaman curry and was extremely let down by the item. The second time back I ordered the duck curry, was absolutely blown away by the quality and the taste. The duck was tender and the sauce was flavorful and rich, probably one of the best duck curries I've ever tasted. I really wish this place would get rid of its more mediocre items as they really bring the overall rating of this place down......
We tried the tuna avocado roll (3.5/5), which was acceptable considering the restaurant doesn't focus primarily on sushi. The grilled squid (4/5) stood out as smoky and delicious. The pad se-ew (4/5) was fairly standard. Unfortunately, the fried rice (3/5) fell short in both portion size and topping variety. The pork jerky (4/5) was flavorful and enjoyable. The drinks we ordered were good and not overly sweet. Lastly, the fried chicken (3/5) was a bit dry.

First time in this place and I expected much more than a beautiful decoration of dishes and nice place. The prices of the dishes and appetizers are very expensive. We did not have a bad courtesy from the employees but they were never attentive to know how we were at the table and they did not even ask, They only came to offer us dessert and to bring us the bill. The service is generally slow!!!
Favorite go to Thai spa, quality, cocktails as if you're in Manhattan for non-Manhattan prices also very delicious and refreshing. I always go for the spicy Rahman which hits the spot. If you ask for extra spicy, they'll give you the sauce and a small ramekin on the side.Leavitt get here service on point and they have an outdoor shed area with central air capability so it's not dry stuffy.
The flavors are so intense but in a spectacular way. The spicy level is perfect here and the thai dishes are soft and flavorful! The duck curry was very delicious and the duck was soft and crispy. The drunken noodle was phenomenal. I haven't had one this good in a very long time. I will definitely be coming back
I love almost everything in this place. The new decor is very cute, friendly staff, great food and alcohol lol my favorite must be the Papaya salad from here as well as the Japanese roles. I like they have different options for food. You just have everything!!

I visited for the first time and it was fantastic! I would give it a perfect score of 10,000 out of 10. The food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly. The ambiance also deserves a perfect 10 out of 10.
