So disappointed as we have previously left a review about two years ago that was nothing but praise. With the menu being reduced from when we last ordered, we assumed the quality of food must have improved since the kitchen could focus on what they excelled at; an assumption that turned out to be wrong. We ordered a superfood bowl and a Katsu bowl with a side of Mac n cheese and sweet potato fries to share. Katsu bowl severely lacked seasoning and flavour. we haven't heard anything other than lob for a long time, so today we bite the ball and went for a Sunday roast. we waited approx. 10 minutes and asked if we were going into the bar to supply alcohol, but said no, we would. are served in a minute. in consideration of the waiting it was not really busy. 20 minutes we were asked what we wanted to eat. my partner and I were at work after this meal, so our time was precious. my partner ate a few of their meals, but the frying spins were terrible. I recently ordered a takeaway for 2 via just eat which came to £40. I don’t mind paying a lot if the quality and quantity is there but in this case neither delivered. The roast potato’s were £4.50 and it is was literally one potato cut into 4, the larger pieces weren’t even cooked through! I called the restaurant and the lady just said that’s what you get! She agrees it’s disgusting but that’s just it! If I’d have been in the restaurant I’d I’ve sent it back! The broccoli we ordered was massively underwhelming for £6.50, soggy and 3 pieces bent over! Came here for lunch with my husband, although it was busy and we hadn’t booked, they found us a table and was taken to our seats straight away. A waitress came over called Laura an took our drinks order then returned to do our food!...Laura recommend the chicken baguette of the lunch menu, which I’m glad she did as it was delicious! Had a wild misunderstanding due to the ambiguous name of this establishment. Not what I was searching Google for folks. Ended up getting escorted out of the place actually. Security were gentle and whilst being carried out the food smelled delicious so I will certainly be returning in the future. The food here is spectacular, especially the teriyaki broccoli (which I was quite on the fence about when ordering). Service was amazing from our waitress Hannah who made our experience enjoyable from the minute we walked in. First time trying this place and I must say that we will be returning.
