I visited this restaurant on a Saturday afternoon to enjoy drinks and take in the beautiful view, which is definitely a highlight. The ground level features a large outdoor bar and high-top tables, while the upper level is indoors and also houses the restrooms. Since we only had drinks, I can’t comment on the food. There are two nearby parking lots that are free, but they are small and fill up quickly. The parking lot is shared with Toasted Monkey next door, so you can easily park and visit both places without any issues. Additionally, Buoy’s has a small dock that can accommodate about four boats, depending on their size.
Get ready to be impressed! The food, service, and location are all outstanding! I ordered the 1 lb. snow crab along with two amazing sides: the Boursin mashed potatoes, which were incredibly delicious, and the wonderfully caramelized honey bacon Brussels sprouts. I'm truly raving about these dishes—they're some of the best I've ever had! I also tried the Seafood Fra Diavolo, which was delicious and came in a generous portion. The service was exceptionally kind, respectful, and, quite frankly, perfect. I absolutely love this place!
Jennifer was awesome! We loved the atmosphere, the view and the food was delicious! I ordered the beef short rib and the gravy was soooo good!!! I'm not normally a beef person, but it just fell apart with a fork! It it was so tender and delicious!! We arefrom out of town and couldn't have chosen a better restaurant for our splurge on dinner! We even bought a t-shirt for our son!!We'll be back!
I had the special mahi mahi, and it was absolutely delicious! The dish came with coconut rice and green beans, which were beautiful and crispy—just the way I like them. The brittle shrimp were also fantastic. My friends ordered the snapper, and they enjoyed it to the last bite. This has officially become my new favorite restaurant! We had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant! The service was outstanding! We arrived early enough to enjoy both brunch and lunch. The Brussels sprouts and the bang bang shrimp po' boy were absolutely delicious. The views from the restaurant are breathtaking!
The food was absolutely incredible! Shrimp grits, the peppercorn filet medallions, the buoy shrimp, it was incredible! To top it off, our waitress Jennifer was awesome and never once let our drinks go empty. Hands down the best restaurant in StPete!
Delicious whole yellow tail. Very very few restaurants offer whole fish as an entree. Buoys does and it’s delicious. I have to mention our wonderful server Tino. Never disappoints. Thank you!
