Steveston Seafood House

I was quite pleased to finally try the dinner service at Steveston Seafood House. Given this restaurant’s long tenure (open since 1978 , and list of accolades (ranking #2 in the “Best Fine Dining” category for the Richmond News Readers Choice 2023, for instance , it virtually promises a solid experience by implication alone. Besides, restaurants don’t last 45 years in the Greater Vancouver Area if they’re mediocre and sub-standard. I took the dear grandparents here to help them celebrate their 67th wedding anniversary. Because they didn’t want anything over the top, Steveston Seafood House – with its serene look of cool pale blues and warm lighting – fit the bill for a celebratory night out....

Has been a long time since I came to this restaurant as I used to live in Steveston and always had great memories about this restaurant.The appetizer (seafood chowder) wasn't anything special and main entree (seafood linguine) was swimming in oil and butter.But the main disappointment was the dessert. The couple we were with found a ring? in their apple crumble and the lemon torte I had had a moldy raspberry.We didn't want to make a scene as we were with company and they did apologize for this and did replace and took the dessert off the bill, but the whole dinner and evening was ruined.When mentioned, it seemed like the server wasn't too overly concerned even when we advised them to tell th...

The staff Steveston Seafoid House are amazing. Each and everyone of them were helpful and friendly. The food was fantastic. Had the fresh oysters and the oyster Rockefeller for appetizer. So fresh. Tried the schnitzel for supper. I have traveled all over Germany and these guys give everyone a run for their money. Great value for the price. Will definitely head there again the next time we are back in town

Great food. Great service, very kind staff.This is a family run, casual dining, high quality seafood spot. It's great for families, for dates, and for being treated like people are glad to see you and value your business.Heart, manners, honesty, helpful srrvice and kindness are really hard to find in restaurants. Perfect everytime! The service is tremendous and the food is marvellous. I’ve tried their steak and it was cooked to perfection. I highly recommend their Red Thai Seafood Bowl! You can’t have enough of it!! The desserts are perfect! My personal favourite is Panna Cotta!

Excellent service from server Brendan. We ordered the beet and goat cheese salad as well as the beef carpaccio salad. Both were excellent. For the mains, we ordered the coho salmon. It can come with just vegetables or vegetables and rice and shrimp. Delicious.

A comfortable, ambient setting. Welcoming staff. Great stable menu choices with daily specials. Tasty cocktail selection. We had scallops and prawns for stayers and lobster and salmon for mains. Portions are generous. We had to share a dessert!!

Visited for brunch and had avocado and prawn salad which was delicious and then Ham Eggs Benny which was equally good. Service very friendly although a little slow at times. Quiet when we were there and reasonable rather than great value Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Very nice staff. A colorful scallops, A valuable oyster order. A delicious Rock Oyster with cheese, Fried Lin Cod is tasty. The lobster' Ravioli doesn't meet our expectations. Other than that, it is a great place to go back again.

Quaint little restaurant, great food and excellent service. I highly recommended it. Both my husband and I tel enjoyed our meal.
