My friend and I pre-booked with a £5 deposit each, to eat in the restaurant which is situated within the Stratford Garden Centre. The seasonal offer was £20 for 2 courses or £25 for three. We both chose the haddock fish pie starter and I ordered the traditional turkey roast whilst she wanted the pork. We had a reserved table and even though we arrived 30 mins early, it was not a problem. The pies were served in scallop shells with a warm bread roll and they were incredibly tasty with plenty of fish and prawns in each serving. Wanted to give the restaurant another chance after a disappointing lunch the previous visit. Very under cooked chicken skewers that took 15 to be replaced therefore everyone else had finished eating. Rude till staff yet again.
Tea and scones. Tea was fine. Scones were stale. Told the assistant and he shrugged his shoulders and gave another stale scone in return.

Better than the Ritz! Amazing food and service. Loved it! Scones were fabulous and the cakes were a great selection.
