Omakase, if you love sushi... you have to do it. 100% worth every penny. This is the second time I've came here (first being the picture below with the lemon salmon roll rosecrans roll which were also great! and all I can say is I've definitely found a place with great staff, amazing food and at decent pricing. Wow... this place is AMAZINGLY delicious, has exceptional service, great quality fresh fish, and beautiful clean presentation. It was my first time dining here today. I typically go to another sushi restaurant near by on the other side of La Mirada weekly but I absolutely found my new favorite weekly spot! They were so nice and food was quick to arrive at table even as sushi was all made to order with quality and care. The fish was so fresh it was like rich melting butter melting in my mouth. Such a hidden gem! It's right next to a 7-eleven in a small lot. Genuinely some of the best sushi I've had anywhere (I like to travel and have been to Japan). The two sushi chefs at the counter are very pleasant and masters at their craft. I've tried Omakase and I also ordered a la carte. My favorite pieces here are Ootoro, Salmon Belly, and Unagi. Prices are also very reasonable given the high quality sushi. The fish tastes fresh and it will melt in your mouth. If you're in the area and like sushi, this is a must go to place.

I hope this place don't close down anytime soon! Not that much sushi spots here in the this area this place right, gosh is just AMAZING!! Food a tab pricey for my budget but gosh it's so good just go during happy hour they have good verity's to choose from. Oh you gotta try their takoyaki so BOMB! Please stop by and try I promise you won't be disappointed
I've been trying to enjoy sushi for a long time, but it never really clicked for me—until now! Suko Sushi has completely changed my perspective. The sushi was incredible, especially with their ponzu sauce! We sampled the lemon salmon roll, sear salmon truffles, and a sushi combination of salmon, yellowtail, and sear salmon, and we loved every bite!
Overall, it's a solid option if you're in the area. While I personally prefer a spot on 2nd Street in Long Beach, I wouldn't hesitate to dine here again. The service was good, and the restaurant appeared clean. They also offer assistance for those with gluten-free dietary needs. Additionally, they had a great selection of happy hour specials!
Suko Sushi officially closed its doors on September 8, 2022. I will always treasure the wonderful memories and delicious food that the talented chefs and staff shared with us during our many visits. A heartfelt thank you for being a part of our lives. I hope our paths cross again someday!

Very fresh fish. My kids are the real critics. One said the salmon and avocado are creamy and the other said they melt in your mouth. I couldn't agree more. Plus I had the spicy tuna roll that isn't burning your mouth spicy but just have enough kick to it so you still tasted the tuna.
Delicious and incredibly fresh sushi. I had the sushi lunch plate and salmon belly and the toro. It was melt in your mouth soft and buttery. My favorite bite was of seared salmon sushi.
