Sushi Blue - Tisch resevieren

Wow! Lexington, do you realize what a hidden gem you have? There haven't been any recent reviews, so perhaps everyone has been trying to keep it a secret! We arrived late and were really hungry, so we checked TripAdvisor to find somewhere open (I believe they’re open until 2 AM). We were seated right away, and despite it being 11 PM, there were only a few other groups there. The menu was extensive, and the service was fantastic. I particularly loved the water glasses and my wine glass. We mainly ordered sushi, and it was absolutely delicious! We all agreed that it was a charming place with great food and service, and we would definitely eat here again if we ever find ourselves back in Lexing...

I was not impressed! Over rated, and over priced!During my order with the server, I was offered to have my rolls deep fried, I agreed without knowing that each one would cost me $3 more! After bringing it up with the manager, his response was sorry, there 's nothing we can do . We all ordered calamari.. that was the biggest joke and regret! For $10.99 we received 5 deep fried, breaded rings on some foam pasta! I wasn 't sure if I should cry or laugh.. we all spent nearly $200 for a total of 8 rolls and not a dollar was compensated for not being up front with us.. it appeared to me that the manager found it humorous when I asked for compensation.. I will not go there again!

I was persuaded by the reviews to give this restaurant a try. The food was decent; we did enjoy the Corona roll, which was unique with the lime on top. However, it wasn't just the food that disappointed us—it was the prices and the service as well. The prices are definitely too high for this area; it’s neither Miami nor New York, even for sushi. Our server appeared to be underpaid and overwhelmed. While he was polite, he lacked energy and enthusiasm. This place could really use some revitalization, and if they could lower the prices by at least $2 per roll, we might consider coming back.

Let's start with the good: usually great fish compared to the cheaper places, reasonable prices, nice selection.On the bad: the racist white male wait staff. When one walks into a place, even when busy, you don't expect to be avoided like the plague, the whole reason the one girl server, who took the time to acknowledge people at the wait to be seated sign, got a 50% tip on a to go order. I’m a business owner and know the value of review, so with that said, I order food at sushi blue at 1:30 am and being from California I was quite skeptical about eating sushi in the blue grass at 1:30am on a Tuesday. The food was amazing, the presentation delightful and the people very friendly. I’m definitely go back when I’m in town. Pleasantly surprised

Sushi Blue is a fun place that has funky decor but with grade A sushi, and it's open late. We had several rolls, nigiri, and tempura. The tempura was extra crispy but not thick with good flavor. The rolls were interesting, with one that had greens and felt like you were eating a salad, and the nigiri were large and fresh. We'll be back.Food: 5/5

The presentation was beautiful, and the quality of the food was excellent. The staff was friendly, and although it's a small restaurant, it offers a great dining experience. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 out of 5.

Best sushi I have ever had! And the owners are so welcoming! I wish I lived closer so I could go more often. Be sure to check for times as they are open from dinner to very late. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Had a great meal and super service. Jaden, our server was fun expedient. He was great at recommending appetizers and main dishes as well as drinks.Food: 5/5
