Visited this place yesterday, it is the best Japanese restaurant so far. 1) Grilled eel bowl most other places would serve any types of bowls with sauce only on the top, but the grilled eel bowl here was great with good amount of sauce, enough for the rice at the bottom. 2) Yaki udon Smart consideration for the dish. The iron dish kept the noodle hot until the last bite, and the balance of vegetables, noodle and chicken is perfect. 3) Chicken katsu bento Golden crisp batter outside and moist meat inside. What a gem this little Japanese restaurant is in Narrabeen. I just found a new favourite local Japanese restaurant near Collaroy. Good selection of sushi, sashimi, ramen and salads, bento boxes and rice bowls. My place to go if I feel like Japanese when I'm in Collaroy. Give their udon or ramen a go, especially when winter is coming up. Their broth is phenomenonal. Never tasted anything like it: well-balanced and you hmm taste the sweetness of the ingredients. Service was friendly and welcoming. Definitely will return. Five stars all the way from me.
I recently dined at a restaurant in the northern beaches that offers a fantastic selection of Japanese dishes. On a cool day, I opted for the chicken don while my partner chose one of their lunch sets. We were both impressed with the quality and portion sizes of our meals, particularly the set which included sushi, tempura, and a side salad. Lovely... the place is cosy, with very friendly service, and the food is of good quality ingredients. Highly recommended the salmon and avocado rice. So healthy and delicious The only confusion is that the first time I had it, it was a hot meal in a big bowl. The second time, it was served cold in a smaller portion. I definitely prefer the hot version. But regardless, it was still very satisfying.

Delicious sushi! I'm surprised this Japanese restaurant has sushi better than most Japanese restaurants in Sydney. The pricing is also reasonable. The place is crowded during lunch/dinner hours, but the staff is always friendly and arrange seats immediately. Their katsu is average, but highly recommend their sushi rolls.
This is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. The sushi and sashimi are delicious, as are the hot meals. The service is quick and the menu has something for everyone. I have been coming here for years and it never disappoints.
The takeout food from this restaurant has always been delicious. I particularly enjoy the bento boxes and fresh sashimi. It would be great if they offered home delivery, but overall I am a satisfied customer.
We ordered the chicken and seafood box. Massive portions which my boyfriend was happy about. Good array of choice in terms of menu variety. Great local sushi restaurant. We will be back.

Hiro bento was well presented meal box. Tempura was super crispy and other main dishes , Miso soup sushi was nice too! And also Aburi salmon don was yum! Enjoyed : thanks
Solid local Japanese food fresh, simple and uncomplicated. A broad enough range of food and the sashimi boat is pretty good value. The staff are courteous and efficient.
