Two weeks ago we ordered a takeaway of the Waka Tasting Bento Box with Miso and Rice. We had the most lovely meal. Tonight we ordered the same thing again. Without warning we received an alternate, much smaller product that looked and tasted terrible. The sushi rolls looked as though they had been thrown into the container, they fell apart as soon as they were touched with chopsticks. There was no ginger, no wasabi, the salmon teriyaki was cold and the salad was soggy.When I called to enquire about it I was passed around to 3 people. We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant! It's a charming little Japanese spot that offers delicious dishes. The kingfish jalapeño dish was especially tasty. We tried a few different items, and the agedashi eggplant was quite yummy. The salmon carpaccio was decent, though it seemed to have a bit too much dressing. The salmon wings were delightfully fatty, though they would have been even better if the skin had been fried to a crisp. The wagyu beef was also quite delicious.
the food is absolutely delicious, but the last time we have dined here, it felt very hurried. the staff pushed us after a past from the restaurant to get the food out. there was a new waitress who didn't understand English very well so the order lasted over 5 minutes. it was a bit disappointed to get out after the service and the food took a while. otherwise the best japaners are on the northern beaches.

This is our favorite Japanese restaurant in the area! While it may be a bit pricier than other options, it is worth every penny. Be sure to try the deep-fried miso eggplant and Wagyu beef tataki - they are must-haves! The food is amazing and the staff is lovely.
I really enjoy the Japanese cuisine at this Narrabeen restaurant. They offer cold beer, sake, and a great selection of specials. The sashimi is my favorite dish, and the staff are extremely friendly. I'm looking forward to dining here again soon.
this is our favorite local Japanese! a little more expensive than others, but every cent worth. must try the deep fried nebel aubergine and wagu rindfleisch tataki! amazing eating, beautiful staff!
really beautiful and reliable Japanese cuisine in narreen. cold beer, for heaven's sake and a great special board. I love her sashimi and the staff is so friendly. I can't wait to eat here again.
