This is hands down the best sushi I've had in the US. They have the best miso, something about it is just amazing umami flavor. The portions are generous, the Bento Boxes make a great lunch and their Yakitori is out of this world. If you like sushi you will love Sushi Kaya. During my visit to Chicago, I decided to dine at this family-owned sushi restaurant that has been serving customers for over 20 years. It truly is the top sushi spot in Chicago. I ordered a variety of maki sushi (including Caterpillar, Snow White, and Tuna Melody), as well as calamari and miso beef ramen. Everything was exceptional! I highly recommend this restaurant. I give the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect score of 5.

Small and cozy restaurant, sushi absolutely perfect. We went for dinner during the week and the restaurant was very quiet which made our experience nice and personalized.
