horrible service, ordered through the app for pickup last night, was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. Sent my husband to pick it up and they said we had no order, they argued with him for 10 minutes, he even showed them the entire order that i screenshotted and sent to him. they continued to tell him they didnt have it. Finally 20 minutes after it was to be ready, it MAGICALLY appeared on the screen. funny how that happened. The people working there are either lazy or dumb. A couple of things. I ordered through the App, granted it was just before showing up at the drive-thru, I knew it would take a few minutes. When I order through the App at McD's, I pick it up through the drive-thru. NOT at Taco Bell. They tel you to drive a bit further and NEVER bring the food outside. I waited for 15 minutes and nothing. I went inside and my food was on the counter, cold. Second of all, and this is NOT the first time, this location chintzes out on Beef. Despite all the bad reviews, my experience at this particular taco bell was actually very good.I went there 5 min after opening and the staff was very friendly/polite and the food was very good. I had the #4 Doritos taco combo and a fry supreme. Service in total walking in walking out was probably 6-8min. Portion size was also very good as well as I've seen that as downfall in other reviews.If I had to say something bad about it, it's that it was slightly dirty but nothing crazy at all. Little dust here and there, washrooms were a lil dirty as well but again, nothing to really complain about.I'd recommend giving it another shot. The food was cold. We were given exploded sauce pachets that were all stuck together. The restaurant was disgustingly dirty, all the tables hadnt been cleaned , food on tables, floor and seats. Our favorite touch was the squished hot sauce packet half stuck on the wall peaking out from behind a picture.Service was brutal, the cashier was slow and had no idea what he was doing.Stay away, disgusting. They added guacamole for some reason on my chalupa and the fries supreme was missing stuff. And I waited for almost 10 minutes even though it was only 2 things and I pre-ordered on the app.Update: turns out I'm allergic to avocado. So not only was the food disgusting I get to deal with hives and itchy tongue, throat and lips for a bit.
I'm surprised this Taco Bell is still open... They never get the orders right unless they're mobile (it's hard to screw up an order that's written out for you), the service is extremely slow (an average of around 5 to 10 minutes, even in drive through) and often times food is made poorly (cold fries, sloppy burritos, broken tacos)
I make a conscious effort to avoid this location, and many others do too. I mistakenly ordered from Uber Eats, thinking I was getting food from the Pen Centre, and immediately realized my error when I saw my order ID. The staff here seems indifferent, and this place has a reputation for being quite unappealing.
Noone was in drivethrew and only one person infront of us inside yet waited 15-20 minutes and still no service we ended up leaving...
