I highly recommend trying the tamales here; the balance between meat and masa is just right. The shredded pork or chicken, paired with either a rich red salsa or a mildly spicy green salsa, is exactly how I like my tamales. The prices are quite reasonable at $1.84 each, $11 for half a dozen, and $21 for a dozen. They offer a variety of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but my focus was solely on the tamales, so I didn't pay much attention to the rest of the menu. My only complaint is that one of the red tamales was a bit too salty.
I’m giving this restaurant a five-star rating because their tamales are simply amazing. Although their prices have gone up since I first started visiting, you really do get what you pay for—top-notch tamales. They serve chicken tamales with green sauce and pork tamales with red sauce. They're also the only place where I've found bean and cheese tamales, which are fantastic. Additionally, they offer sweet tamales! I highly recommend stopping by to try them.
I come here primarily for the tamales, even though they offer other options. The tamales are a great size, with a good balance of masa, meat, and sauce—unlike other places that tend to skimp on the filling and give you mostly masa. It's a solid spot, and I recommend it to all the locals. I gave it 4 stars because when you pay with a card, it prompts you to tip, which I found a bit unnecessary.
I visited the restaurant hoping to try the tamales oaxaqueños, but they turned out to be quite dry. On the other hand, I also ordered some regular tamales, and those were excellent. I recommend skipping the oaxaqueños and just sticking with the regular tamales. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The best tamales I've ever tasted! I had the pleasure of enjoying some incredible tamales back in September, and I can't stop thinking about them. I've found the address and plan to return soon for another serving of those amazing tamales!
The employees are nice, I like the green tamal y and the cheese with rajas. The tamales are ok, you can get 12 tamales for $21, if you pay with card you need to pay an extra fee.
My coworker bought us tamales from here the pork and chicken ones OMG we are ate the tamales they are Super delicious!! I had to get the address from her to buy more !
