I absolutely love the staff and dining at Tania's! We were recommended to this place by someone who works in our area, and wow, what a fantastic suggestion! We've visited twice, and both times they surprised my wife with a birthday candle and a cake. They kept our coffee topped up, took great care of us, and made us feel right at home. The locals in Nanaimo definitely send visitors and newcomers here for a reason! The food and service are exceptional. While the menu prices might seem a bit high at first, after eating here, I bet most people would agree it's great value! I give it my vote for the best breakfast in the city!
Have you ever discovered a gem that exceeded your expectations? That was my experience today. I asked our electrician for a recommendation for a good breakfast spot, and he pointed us to Tania's. I'm so grateful he did! Everything was exactly what I was looking for. While the prices seemed a bit high, the meal was absolutely worth it! The atmosphere was local and unpretentious, and the staff were friendly. I'm still full hours later! This is definitely my new go-to breakfast place in Nanaimo.
Months ago we took a family member here for breakfast before we had to drive them to the airport, and the food and service was awesome. Our family member enjoyed it so much, they wanted to get up extra early so we could all go for breakfast again today (July 12) before they had to fly back home. Great and friendly service, fresh and hot breakfasts for us. It's always nice to get your eggs exactly as ordered whether it's poached, sunny side up etc. Thanks again!
Service is top notch and friendly even during pandemic in a strange time when we have to show vaccination cards. put that in the review because one day we will read this in the future and say, WOW). This place was great. Old school diner serving some awesome breakfast dishes. One of the only places open early for breakfast. The breakfast bowl was awesome. So much so, that we went back the next day and ordered the same thing again.
this small hole in the wall grabs a hit full of rich breakfast, brunch and lunch. the cozy environment with the wide of the menu makes for a great experience for the family together or business dinner. a must go for breakfast lovers.
This is the place. The place that reminds you of a small town short order joint, where it's not expensive, food arrives quickly, and is tasty. It's sort of half greasy spoon, half dinner. But it's right up my alley.
