After being a loyal customer of Tapas Tapas for years, I had a disappointing experience tonight. We requested a table upstairs, but none were available. We then observed four people who had not made a reservation being seated upstairs, followed by two more individuals who had a short wait and also had not booked a table. We were informed that a large party had finished dining at our requested table, but we never saw anyone leave during our time there.

My favourite meal from my trip to Liverpool was from this restaurant. The staff were absolutely lovely and attentive and the atmosphere was amazing too. We ordered the steak with rosemary potatoes (personal favourite), pork belly, paella, calamari and pan duo and everything was just so delicious. I would say to keep in mind that each tapas is quite filling so make sure to not over-order and to definitely book a table in advance since the restaurant was quite full when we went on a Friday night. Most of the food was great, really very tasty. The breads could of done with been charred on the grill and the steak was a little let down compared to the rest of the food. It's lovely and well priced. We went with our 2 Yr old and to be honest, it's not the best place for loud toddlers as it's a small and intimate place so we really felt like everyone was sitting with us as our child loudly ate his dinner. We ended up leaving early because of that. I think next time we will ask to be seated upstairs as its a bit bigger up there. The best restaurant to ever exist. If ever I’m asked where I want to go Tapas Tapas . Bad day tapas tapas. Celebration Tapas Tapas. My last meal if I were to be on death throw, would be from here. Best food ever. The atmosphere is amazing the staff are absolutely fantastic. It feels like a second home now. My only qualm is that I didn’t find this place sooner. I had a wonderful meal at this restaurant last night. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, with generous portions. I appreciated the option to take home leftovers to avoid waste. My wife and I were visiting Liverpool and happened to walk past this restaurant on our way to the hotel. Something about it caught our eye, so we decided to return in the evening.
