We began our meal with some tea— I chose the Persian tea without milk, while my partner opted for the tea with milk. On that chilly evening in St. Louis, the hot tea was just what we needed. For our appetizer, we ordered falafel, which was incredibly hot, fresh, and crunchy. Next, we shared a platter that featured three types of kabobs: chicken, beef, and lamb, along with two varieties of rice. Wow! This restaurant exceeded all my expectations! Everything was absolutely delicious! I loved every aspect of it. The atmosphere was simple yet charming, with lovely music playing in the background and wonderful aromas wafting through the air. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. I ordered the beef kabobs, which were different from any I’ve had before (check out the photo), but they were packed with flavor. Truly delicious! My family and I were there for lunch and we ordered appetizers, main course, and desert. We all enjoyed the tast of all the foods they served. I was worried at first because my 11year old son is so picky and do not eat food from restaurants but surprisingly he finished his lunch which was ' Ghormeh sabzi ' and he told me that it was the best. I also ordered 'Ash ' as an appetite and ' Ghymeh ' as the main course and 'Baklava tea ' as desert. They were all very tasty . The staff were also nice and polite.
I'm new to the area and I'm making an effort to explore different restaurants in St. Louis, particularly along Grand Avenue. The service here was prompt, and my server was very polite. I ordered the kabob combo, and the meats were juicy and well-seasoned. For an appetizer, I had the falafel, which was absolutely delicious. It was served warm, and the outside was perfectly crunchy. This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I was impressed by the delicious, fresh food offered at reasonable prices. The place was very clean, and the service was excellent. The owner was incredibly friendly, checking in on me a couple of times to ensure I was happy with everything. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return. I make an effort to support local small businesses instead of dining at chain restaurants.
The food at this restaurant is truly delectable! The atmosphere is serene and cozy, making it a perfect place to relax. The service is outstanding, with staff who are incredibly friendly. I have a friend from Iran who used to prepare meals for us, and now that he lives in another state, I feel a sense of homecoming at this amazing restaurant. I absolutely love dining here! What a rare and exceptional find! Taste of Persia is probably the best restaurant on Grand!! You can practically feel the loving care put into each dish between the wonderful aroma and exceptional quality of the food. Something that only family owned can provide. Hands down the best lamb shanks in town thank you for such a treat!
I’m Iranian , traveller . The food was good but I didnot heard lovely taste of Persian food i normally eat. We ordered Ash Reshteh that was good quality but too far of normal persian one. We ordered ghormehsabzi again taste was far and we ordered combo chiken and kobideh , chiken was good . Thanks Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
