The food was the best I've ever had from here (fourth visit)! It was hot, fresh and very flavorful. The coconut shrimp was delicious w the honey bourbon sauce (wish it was alittle more on the sweet honey side), the calamari was not rubbery or chewy at all and the breading was light and crisp, the oysters were literally the biggest ones I've ever had!!! I'm not a fan of them (my BF loves them) but they were very well clean and shucked correctly with minimal surprise shell pieces(which is one of the reasons I don't like them) they were flavorful and I actually ate 3! My mother taught that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all. Sorry Ma, but this was so egregiously bad, I have to warn others. When we walked in, the bartender loudly told us she was out of everything. Chicken, hamburger, lemons, limes the list went on.... We should have walked right back out. My cousin lives in Nashville now and he tries to get oysters whenever he's back east, so we were a little too desperate for the only seafood that was open. I ordered the Fish and Chips, and I have to say, the batter on the fish was outstanding—lightly coated and perfectly crisp. The fish itself was incredibly moist, tender, and flaky. It was absolutely delicious, and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The fries were also fantastic—crispy without being soggy, just the way I like them. I stopped by the Thames Landing Oyster House in New London, CT, for dinner while on my way to Moynihan Train Hall in New York City via Amtrak. I had a lovely dining experience that evening, and I will definitely return for lunch or dinner whenever I'm in New London, CT.
We visited the restaurant for dinner last night after picking up our niece from the train station. The fried calamari appetizer was outstanding. For our main courses, we ordered stuffed haddock, stuffed shrimp, and ravioli, and each of us agreed that it was one of the best meals we've ever had. Our server, Yolanda, was excellent—she attended to our needs without being intrusive. The atmosphere, views, and decor were exceptional. Highly recommend!

Seriously, it was a beautiful day spent with beautiful family, and everything about this quaint little place was pleasing to me. It was not busy when we went. The service was excellent, many thanks to the waitress, and the food was ridiculously good. I think I ate most of it in shock, pleasant, happy, satisfied shock, but the freshness and flavor were amazing. Many props to the chef. And of course, thanks fam for a wonderful day.
The atmosphere was wonderful, the food was amazing, and our server Matt was outstanding! We began with calamari and were almost tempted to order a second round. My wife enjoyed the clam strip dinner, which was delicious, while my fish and chips were even better! We capped off our meal with a red velvet cake. We will certainly be coming back to try more of their menu!
I really enjoy this spot near the train station and docks! I had the Ahi salad, which was very tasty, although it was slightly overcooked. My friends ordered the seafood taco sampler and the salmon salad, both of which were also good. We tried the Lavender mojito as well—so delicious!
The fried scallop basket and haddock tacos were incredible, and the burger was excellent too! There was an abundance of shrimp in the scampi! The service was outstanding, and we will definitely be returning. Thames Landing is now on our list of regular spots!

I'd give them a 5 star but they didn't have scallops(which is what we specifically wanted) or steak. But so glad we stayed. Everything we ordered was delicious. Service from Matthew was exceptional. Worth every penny.
