A fun place to hang out with friends! Came here for the first time and now I'm kicking myself for not coming here earlier! The atmosphere was incredible, really felt like the headquarters of a guild. Didn't get any food but the two drinks we ordered, the Yoshi and Mochaccino, were both delicious. In addition to board games, they also have a great selection of old consoles and games that hits you with nostalgia. Highly recommend.
This place is so popular on Sundays I think they will need a second floor. There are so many games but the one that I enjoyed was called Timeline. The staff were super helpful showing us what 2 player games to try that were beginner friendly. Wow. This place is an absolute gem in downtown Kitchener. A gamer's haven, it features board games, roleplaying games, and some classic video games alongside some tasty food and drink options. Friendly, atmospheric, and homey. This is an absolute treasure of a bricks-and-mortar shop that deserves your patronage!
The staff was exceptional—super helpful and friendly. They assisted me in finding great games and even took the time to explain the rules. I come with my friends here often, It's cozy and the staff are friendly. Only lost a star because when the place is full it because BEYOND hot to the point where you have to go outside for a breeze. Also it's a bit more pricey then other boardgame cafés. Still recommend this place though.
I've visited this place twice, and each time the staff has been friendly and helpful. They offer a great variety of games, and the atmosphere is fantastic. It can get a bit noisy depending on who is playing alongside you, but it adds to the fun. I highly recommend checking it out!
This place is a gamer's dream! A lovely wood panelled cafe full of board games, video games, and creative layout.It feels like the café from Hogsmead from Harry Potter. The vibe is chill, cozy, and warm.I highly recommend a visit to this place.
