We live quite close to The Albany but its location means we don't walk or drive past it within our normal routine, so it hasn't been front of mind. However, having not been there for years, we thought we should check it out. We went for Sunday lunch today and both the beef and the chicken roasts were very good. Meat and vegetables all perfectly cooked. We'll be back.
What a great pub and dining rooms. Babs, James and their team make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in and I have say the food is superb. The atmosphere is very friendly and a trip to the Albany is always I pleasure. I went for Sunday lunch with my wife yesterday and really enjoyed a very delicious roast chicken. Already looking forward to my next visit.
We celebrated Father's Day at this charming traditional-style pub. The atmosphere was pleasant and the roast dinner was fantastic! The service was excellent and catered to the needs of our large group. I highly recommend this place for both food and drinks.
