We had a Sunday lunch recently. However it took 20mins for our starter to arrive from when we ordered and other tables who ordered after us were served before us. When we enquired apparently order had got lost. This hotell still has the reputation of poor service. This is a shame as the staff themselves are friendly and polite, they just need more training. The food was good and it is for this reason we will return.
we are a repeated customer and the angel hotel never disappointed. the food was excellent, the service was always excellent and we sat in the bay window of the main restaurant, which was beautiful. Although busy, it felt relaxed and we came away and thought it was perfect for mama on Mother's Day. thanks to
good service and attentive front of the house staff, both well trained were decor very nice eating was expensive and not particularly unforgettable. sanded package white brot (e.g. kingsmill) with the cuddles was not very good. burger was very small. all parts were on the little side.

Excellent as always. Food was very tasty and beautifully presented. We had the three course Sunday lunch for £24 and we’re both extremely full and satisfied by the end, we actually didn’t finish the dessert as we were so full. Staff were friendly and efficient.
We had to wait over an hour for our lunch to arrive, despite others receiving their food, deserts and bill before we'd had our food delivered. The food was good when it arrived.
Food was excellent, menu quite varied ranging from £14 burger to £26 steak. Service needs some work!
