Welcoming, friendly and great tasting food. I will remember this pub because they were great with my little one and interacted with him so well. They had a open fire going and gave him a marshmallow to toast which he loved. A great selection of drinks as well as food. The food and service was friendly and professional and we will definitely be back. The food was tasty and also arrived quickly. The pub is in a perfect location as you'll see from the photos and is a 5 minute walk from the train station.
I visited Henley from the U.S. in May. Found myself at The Angel several times, for the wonderful atmosphere and service I received. Everyone was so nice! Ales were good, as was the food.
The location of Angel On The Bridge is indisputably amazing as it sits next to the Thames. Oddly didn't let us sit outside if we wanted to eat....
I'm gone now because I left a bad rating (over broken glass in a Rissoto) on TripAdvisor. Sad I can't leave a negative star review.
