Dishonest service charges. Food and service were reasonable. Beer selection is good and the updated outdoor area is lovely for a nice evening. That said, we were only a table for 4 and had a reasonable evening, but sadly left unhappy. I paid my bill with a credit card and was prompted to add 10, 12.5 or 15%. Added 15%, but when I got back to my table, my wife pointed out that according to the very small print on a page of the menu you’re unlikely to read, a 12.5% charge had already been added to my bill. Effectively, I had paid 27.5% worth of tips? Really, if you’re already charging me 12.5%, your credit card machine should not be pushing me for preset amounts afterwards. Whether this is bus...
what a large, open, scenic place of the thems. we had a nice selection of ales and a pleasant pimms. focaccia made with olive and oil for a delicious snack. the children's menu had many options, and the adults have sat the baked squid, the black salmon, the salat and the chicken carving. busy day with fine service and a session of tabletennis to boot.
large menu, fabulous eating and fantastic ambiente. we sat on the picnic tables on the water and it was so beautiful. the green divine salate was great and fresh, although quite overpriced. but the aubergine salad side dish was quite a big servier and really delicious not bad for £4!
daisy and deanna were excellent hosts! a limited parking space in front of the front, but there are more on the street. nice pub, right at the river, it is expensive, but for the location it is worth it. plus mama paid when it was my birthday dinner Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
there for dinner and we really enjoyed it! the garden is beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I ordered salmon and my partner had the broken squid with chips. the portions were very large and everything was delicious.
The staff was lovely and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The only downside was the long wait for food. The staff seemed to be working very hard, but it wasn't fair on them.
As Carol entered the restaurant, she was greeted by the cold outside but warmed up quickly in the beautiful and cozy interior atmosphere.
