We had another enjoyable family birthday meal at Bold Restaurant. There were 17 of us celebrating Tom's 24th birthday. The kitchen was busy, so there was a bit of a wait for our meals, but it was Easter Monday. Despite the wait, we all had a great time and enjoyed the delicious food. The staff, especially Wayne and Ged behind the bar, Jo who organized the room for us, and Izzy and Rosie who waited on our tables, worked incredibly hard. A big thanks to the kitchen staff for preparing such wonderful dishes. We will definitely be back soon.
Want a good value for money evening out with the Family for a meal, then you are unlikely to go wrong with this traditional Churchtown pub. Not only was the service behind the bar faultless and friendly but the Rosie S our waitress for the...night looked after our table with the sort of caring light touch that made you feel both welcome and very well looked after. The staff are a real credit to this pub and the non pretentious atmosphere puts being sociable and relaxed at the top of the menu! Thank you Bold and than you Rosie S
I have dined at this restaurant for both dinner in the dedicated dining area and lunch in the pub section. The food is of exceptional quality, especially the creative choices on the vegan menu. This is not your standard veggie lasagna – the menu has clearly been carefully crafted. While the prices are on the higher side, they are still reasonable considering the quality of the food. I also appreciate that the drinks are marked as vegan, showing thoughtfulness and providing helpful information for vegans.
I would like to start saying if there were more stars I would have given them that the staff is so friendly. 10 out of 10 in any case, so that eating was fresh and hot and I didn't wait long: it was a very clean pub even the loo area was immaculate. I will go back this week as I now had this little jewel of a. pub it had a nice local feeling to the place and loved there log fire: and to finish it, it is in a beautiful small village in church city

We received a warm welcome from the waitress (who found it amusing that I was running late!) Our meal was delicious, especially considering the price. We opted for the senior menu but still received excellent service. One of our group was celebrating a birthday and was treated with care, including a dessert with a lit candle. I look forward to returning soon.
There are not many vegan options available at this restaurant. I ordered the plant-based burger, which was very realistic but I couldn't eat it. When I asked for a soy or other plant-based coffee, they did not have any available on site. This place seems to be more focused on serving alcohol rather than offering a variety of food and coffee options.
I recently dined with friends at this restaurant. It is reasonably priced and has a relaxed atmosphere, offering a variety of dishes on the menu. The food is good, not fancy, but satisfying. They have a nice bar area as well as quieter sections for those looking for a more intimate dining experience.
another nice lunch with friends. this churchtown pub also offers a great menu with good trips. the service of jo is wonderful, nothing is too much annoying and even if they were short staff and busy yesterday, jo made an amazing work at. all their customers to keep happy. we're coming back.

My dad and I took a walk to The Bold for dinner. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant, even though it was not busy. We opted for the 5 for £21 starters/light bites deal, which were fantastic. Well done to the team, keep up the great work!
The restaurant offers amazing food at a good price and has a wonderful atmosphere. Jo made my special celebration even more special. We will definitely be visiting again.
