our first visit was a joy. the pub has a warm cozy rustic feeling, and was somewhere I felt that I could randomly visit friends and family or go a bit dressy at a special occasion and have a romantic meal. the food was freshly cooked to order with a lot of choice plus specials, with the size of the portion is very generous for the appropriate prices. we will definitely visit again.
Just spent the night at Bowes Incline and cannot fault it. We had a newly refurbished room which was spotless. Mattress was really comfortable, only a 4’6” bed which felt small because ours is 6’. We went as a party of 6, all had a different main meal in the restaurant, the food was excellent, thank you.
