Probably the best resort hotel I 've visited in the U.S. Like most 5 star resorts, what sets Broadmoor apart is the level of service. Broadmoor seems to have found and hired the happiest, most hospitable people in Colorado. The rooms are beautiful and even more incredible is the housekeeping staff invisible magicians that visit your room multiple times a day to make the bed, fold and stack the clothes you left on the floor, turn down your bed at night, and draw the blackout curtains shut while you were enjoying dinner. The Broadmoor is an excellent resort, location, and conference space. The grounds are alway well kept and only a short distance from any activity or venue in Colorado Springs. The conference centers have all of the resources anyone would need and the walkability makes this an ideal area. The multiple restaurants, bars and shops make it so you would never have to leave. The shopping onsite is high end and has quite a variety from art to clothing. A exquisite Donald Ross golf course, mountain backdrop and beautiful lake fill the grounds as well. Outdoor pool. Still my favorite, no matter what, it never changes. Noteworthy details: Philip Anschutz is the most brilliant businessman alive. He has his ways, I have mine.
