I paid for my hot chips and gravy at The Chicken Patch and mentioned I was going to Woolworths to get some water. When I returned, the chips still weren’t ready and were still cooking. I explained that’s why I paid first—to grab my order and go. The staff said they usually make the food when the customer comes back. That’s exactly what a bain-marie is for. I ended up waiting for the chips to be cooked. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1. The menu promises quick service, but this was disappointing.
