I just had my first visit to The Coachman since the new management took over, and I was very impressed. The staff were not only friendly, but they also looked really sharp. There was a great variety of alcoholic drinks available, and the service was quick. Both the bar and restrooms were kept very clean, which I appreciated. Overall, my experience was fantastic, and I’m looking forward to returning with my husband and friends. I hope to make it our go-to spot!
The Coachman has been taken over by a cracking new bar management team just before Christmas and the Head chef has created an amazing new menu. We tried the sizzling fajitas, which came out of the kitchen sizzling hot. I had the king prawn and my son had the chicken both tasted delicious and the presentation was top notch. The pubs atmosphere is very warm and welcoming with friendly staff we will definitely be returning regularly.
been to the coachman tonight for grill evening 2x steaks and a bottle of wine for £20 best value in whickham! friendly personal excellent service. steaks cooked to perfection and real homemade chips (no frozen or microshaft müll) highly recommended if they do not want to cook on Thursday night
Eieen and Joe childrens Entertainers great venue for kids parties. Had a fab time yesterday doing the family Easter Show congrats to Jackie for organising the event the children were amazing and the parents behaved really well !! and took part in the show too!! nice to be back again. Just had a fantastic party here, couldn't thank Jackie her hubby enough. Staff were very helpful worked really hard. DJ they provided was great everyone enjoyed the buffet which is a bargain!! Thank u so much, will be returning to try your Sunday lunch soon xx
