Myself and my partner visited in May for his birthday celebrations. Due to having children, we don’t manage to get out an awful lot, so after hearing some good things about Homewood, I decided to book it for his birthday meal. When I made the booking, I did pop a note on there to say it was a special occasion and we were really looking forward to it. When we arrived, we walked into the main entrance and approached the main reception area. No one was there, many members of staff just walked past us without even acknowledging us (I get people are busy but just a quick “I’ll be with you in a min!” Would have been great) we had a look around and couldn’t see anyone, there was someone serving on...

We experienced the full selection this place has to offer. BREAKFAST: We had breakfast a few times here and it never disappointed. The quality of the food and particularly the quality of service from the staff was impeccable. Decent value for money, peaceful location, pet friendly and very tranquil. LUNCH: We had both snacks and a more substantial lunch after we went for a swim. Again, the staff was excellent and very attentive and the chap behind the bar even taught me a thing or two about one of my favourite Japanese Whiskeys. Visited for afternoon tea Feb 2024. Lovely meet and greet on arrival and shown to the restaurant. Very impressed with the decor. Food was very tasty with some lovely intense flavours (especially the mushroom ketchup), although scones were quite bland and dry. Tea pots were only half full would have been nice to have been full up without having to ask for second pot (didn't know if we were allowed a second pot). Service was very good, although there was a lack of staff readily available in the dining room if anything was needed. Will re visit for dinner next time. See you soon.

We booked a table for 12.00 to celebrate New Year’s Eve. We arrived just before and were told lunch service was being prepared and we waited at the bar. There was no one dining as other diners arrived and were seated immediately. I told members of staff we were leaving and told them that our table was ready. No one cared . It was 12.25. We are told that there is a time limit on our table and their cancellation policy but seemed like they cannot even seat guests at their allotted time even when it was not busy or no one at the restaurant when we arrived. Sunshine helps, but seated outside for a late Sunday lunch in the lovely surroundings of Homewood Park was delightful. Service was excellent. Nice touch from the restaurant manager to give a comp glass of Whispering Angel. Main waitress for the area first class. Food was ok. Nice roast with tasty vegetables but nothing special. But then the price was very reasonable so overall good value. The main reason for going back is the design and style of the place and on this occasion great service.

Our family enjoyed a family birthday lunch on Saturday in one of the private lodges on the terrace. It was perfect. Service was excellent, food superb, the room cosy, well decorated and comfortable. Could not have been a better experience. Furthermore beautiful grounds to walk the dogs. Couldn’t recommend this restaurant More

The atmosphere at this restaurant is beautiful, with a very nice dining room. The menu is excellent and the food is delicious and well presented. The staff is attentive and very friendly. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for my mother-in-law's birthday. We will definitely be returning soon.

Afternoon tea to celebrate family birthdays. The food was very good but service tended to be somewhat indifferent. The decor is interesting and one part of the dining area has multiple chandeliers while other zones had modern lighting creating a rather strange ambiance

We booked one of their 'Bubble ' dining domes which was just great for a private party. The food was excellent, the service charming and the whole experience very enjoyable
