A year ago I went there and had a really good cheeseburger. Last night my boyfriend and I went for Tuesday night tacos.First of all the place had a wierd smell, maybe that’s why the door was propped open.Had to ask for the taco special menu. The 3 tacos had meat, lettuce tomato and salsa( looked like spaghetti sauce) on the side that was it. Cheese, sour crème, etc costs extra. I got a small taco salad. Big hard clumps of lettuce, a little bit of tomato, a big glop of hamburger held together with who knows what, no cheese , they forgot the sour cream then tried to charge me for it and again the salsa looked like Spaghetti sauce.Margaritas were on special but served in wrong kind of glass.WON...
A family member arranged for our family to attend The Rose after my father's funeral. They normally do not open until 4, but opened at noon for our party of about 32 people. Our server was fantastic, and did her best to serve all of us in a timelymanner. Overall, the food was great. Only exception was with the Italian hoagie. There was a lot of roll, lettuce, tomato andonion, but not a lot of meat. The taste was great, but needed more meat. Our family was very appreciative of them opening earlyand allowing us this time with family after a very difficult time.
The salad was very fresh and delicious. The pulled pork nachos were really good. The bbq sauce on the nachos was a rasberry based bbq sauce. It was ok a little too sweet but ok. The mixed vegetables were really good and buttery. The fish sandwich was excellent. You get a lot for what you pay for. The server was really nice. I highly recommend the fish sandwich.
We've been here twice. The first time was great but tonight the waitress was very forgetful. It seemed like our waitress and the other one were more concerned about texting than working. Nice room, but no air conditioning. Approximately 50 people but because Of the lack of air, it was too stuffy. Staff was friendly and nice. Some of the food was dry like it sat too long before being served. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
Had the Steak Hogie, could not believe the melt in your mouth actually real shaved steak!!! Would come back for that or even the hamburger that my son had. Next time I come I'm going to try the steak salad, the next table got that and it looked large and mighty tasty!!
Big bartender... This is the owner/manager does not hold a bar in stock. From certain drinks for weeks at a time. Sporade hours... were said they were closed early with a full bar of cartridges ready to spend money. TL;DR= large staff, badly managed
