I went to the bar with a group of friends (4 females). Each of us ordered one drink, and at the end of the night when we asked for the check, the bartender put everything on one bill. When I asked if the bill could be split up, the bartender freaked out, saying "seriously, you're making me do this" and was very rude. The tone was shocking, and my friends and I couldn't believe he was speaking to us in such a manner. I understand he was the only person working, but that does not excuse his unprofessional behavior. I've been coming to the San Fernando since it opened and it's truly a gem. There is something so cozy and comfortable about the space. I have it on my short list of crowd-pleasers for when people are visiting from out of town or are unsure what they're in the mood for. So when organizing a holiday get together fell to me and a couple friends, The San Fernando quickly rose to the top of venue possibilities. I must say the staff really went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and were warm and accommodating. It really made a huge difference and everyone in our party remarked on how lovely everything was. They have lice music many nights of the week and a heated, covered patio....
We hosted our engagement party here just a few weeks back and had the time of our lives! Even before hosting the party, we just fell in love with the spot itself with its amazing food, great staff, and the best margarita I've ever had. Their service carried over to our event, with all of our friends asking us how we found this amazing place. Big shoutout to Uwe and super big shoutout to Sean! Sean was basically the host of our party and he and the staff he had working it were all so lovely and so attentive. I even broke a glass by accident at one point and he was so gracious and understanding, even saying it was good luck! It was one of the best parties I've ever hosted and I am so grateful...
It's a chill place. Inside is almost like a clean dive bar. Outside patio was nice. The DJ was killing it that night. Mayne it's me but the prices were a little high. If you can get happy hour food and drink definitely do it. The sliders were bomb but 9$ for 2 and that was happy hour. And I'm not cheap. Fantastic spot to gather with a group or just a date. The patio is super night, plenty of heaters and lit well, in a comfortable and inviting way. The service is TOP notch and the drinks and food were great. We had had a midsized group last night and they were all super nice to us, very attentive and it’s couldn’t have been a better experience. Highly recommended!
We went today on a Saturday at around happy hour around 5-6 pm. They were busy. Apparently because when I tried to order at the bar, I was shooed away by the 1 guy working...I prefer somewhere with a chiller vibe like highland park brewery. I consider coming back because the food was good. Maybe I need to go on a weekday?
The hummus was fantastic and a hit with everyone in the group. The wings were just okay. The service was excellent and the patio area was lovely. However, the noise from passing trains was a bit disruptive. The indoor seating was cozy. We didn't try any drinks, so we can't comment on that.

Great vibe , beautiful outside patio seating, amazing food and drinks. Bartenders are so friendly and give quick service, definitely would come back.
