My wife and I came in for Dinner at about 1700 on April 12th. The food was good and the service from Christian was good. We will certainly visit again. The only problem we had was that one of the persons sitting behind us, next to the bar, was incredibly loud, almost to the point of shouting. So much so that we could not hear one another speak. The person was either an employee of the pub or a close friend of the employees judging from her interaction with the bar staff. If she was a customer, no problem, if she was a member of the staff please ask her to tone it down. We had intended to stay for another drink but the noise was too great. No reflection on the food or the service.
We had an excellent experience here. Was lunchtime on a busy Saturday, and they were able to fit us in without a recommendation after we went for a 15 min stroll to wait. (If you don't want to wait I recommend reserving). I was after somewhere in Elora where I could find a couple of vegan options. We found that they had an entire section of the menu which was vegan; so refreshing to find in a pub outside of the city. Good, freindly service too. We'll be back for sure.
Traditional British pub food is served at this establishment, alongside authentic Guinness beer. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with plenty of satisfied patrons. I highly recommend trying the Shepherd's Pie - it was delicious!
Nice pub and service good. We were disappointed with our meal though. My Husband and I ordered the Irish stew and there were only 2 small pieces of meat in it, so very poor value for money. On the plus side, the gravy was very tasty
