we went to soundgarden before a show in the fortitude, they took the food orders, each on our table got a separate table number, even tho, we said we were on the same table. the food took an hour to get out in dribs and drabs and as a result we missed the beginning of our show. we even had to eat our last meal. they said when we ordered, there would be a 40-minute waiting time, so we thought we were in order. I don't know if this is common for this place. that was nice to eat.
I had a fantastic night with great food and music, and the venue itself is very cool. The staff are friendly, but they could be more efficient when making drinks, which caused some queues at the bar. Additionally, some of the staff seemed unsure about the drinks on the menu. If these issues were addressed, this place could easily elevate from a casual pub vibe to a professional dining club experience.
We ordered pizza, but it didn't match the description on the menu; it was lacking ingredients, very sparse, and the center ended up being a soggy mess that we had to fold to eat. Overall, this experience didn't set a great tone for our evening, nor did it leave a positive impression on our guests from out of town. We've dined here before without issues, so this was disappointing.
We had pre-ordered our meals, and there were tables ready for us upon arrival. The selection of starters was excellent, and some were customized to meet our specific needs. The drink menu was extensive, offering a variety of options, including some of the best cocktails served in jugs. the location is great and the staff was fabulous. as everywhere, not enough personal to cope with demand. eating was ok and a little expensive for a pub style meal. a great place to go with a group of friends.
Lovely venue with good atmosphere but food really let the place down unfortunately. Next time I would just go there for pre-dinner drinks. Staff were great.
Great venue for a social or work function. You can drink, dance (live music) or just sit quietly watching people passing by on the busy Brunswick
