What I actually appreciate the most about The Star on Park is the atmosphere and the decor it 's a casual restaurant with a really nice bank theme, as I believe it used to be a bank. There were really nice chandeliers and the counters was the the bank vault . It definitely had a nice vibe to it. I was impressed when I stepped in. My party of 4 didn 't have a reservation on a Saturday night, so we had to wait about 15 minutes, which wasn 't too long. We shared: 1) California Thin Crust Pizza, which is pesto based with arugula, sun dried tomato, and red onions with a balsamic reduction. I appreciated the tang and the pesto! I ordered pizza from The Star on Park and enjoyed it! The interior was dim and welcoming There were plenty of windows and space. Most recently, I ordered for pickup and the process was very easy There is a separate area for pickup that really streamlines the process. As for the pizza itself, I am a fan of deep dish and I think Star hit the mark! I particularly enjoyed the crunchy crust.

Came in on a Sunday afternoon. The hostess acted as if she didn't even want to speak to us. When she finally did acknowledge us she asked if we had a reservation. We didn't she said it would be a 60 minute wait. There were at least 10 empty tables. Needless to say we left

Food is good. But they have fallen into the trap of applying a compliance surcharge on the bill. And the tip suggestions are all based on after tax calcs. Sort of a shame they play these games to gross up their take.
