My first time visiting The Wheatsheaf today and it couldn't have been better. Very friendly and accommodating staff and a lovely environment inside and outside the premises. The food is excellent. Although I only had a very delicious pizza, the others in my party thoroughly enjoyed their decadent looking desserts. Although it's a little far out for my current location in London, in comparison it's a stone's throw away from my hometown Aylesbury. I will be returning to The Wheatsheaf soon, hungry for more.

Excellent service in the eye of storm Eunice. Having arrived in Aston Rowant to stay with no power we went in search of light and warmth and found it in abundance. We had a lovely evening with very attentive service and lovely food. The rack of ribs was delicious and the sides great. We had a lovely bottle of wine and good beer. We were welcomed and had a lovely evening. Thoroughly recommend a visit.
We have come away for the weekend and booked a table at the wheatsheaf and what can I say! The food, service and atmosphere was just amazing! Will 100% be back there I had the pork belly burger and it was just the best burger...I have ever had everything was so fresh and the staff very friendly and chatty a lovely pub and they really make you feel at home!
The wheatsheaf is a great pub with a great atmosphere, it has a wide range of drinks available and a lovely woodfired pizzas. Ive also hesrd good stuff about there burgers but have been unable to try them yet. The staff are loevely, and inviting...I highly recommend this place to anyone.
My parents moved to the area recently where we have been out for dinner here now twice, the food is exceptional, think I may have had one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had!! The staff are also brilliant and very friendly. Can’t recommend this pub enough.
Rolled Roast Pork Belly Sunday lunch, to takeaway. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommended! Didn't even need a quick reheat. Lady answering the phone for orders and bringing out the food is just lovely. Thank you!
Called in off-chance, did nor pre-book. Excellent food in a great outdoor atmosphere. Staff could Not be more attentive or courteous. Left very full with a smile on our faces, could we ask for more! Well done all.
Absolutely loved it. I had the roast beef, the portion was so generous and the roast potatoes were delicious. I also treated myself to some crackling. The staff were lovely too, cant wait to go back.
