The restaurant offers soy cheese, but it contains milk enzymes so it is not actually vegan cheese. The stir-fried tofu dish was decent, the salad was good, and the flatbread was tasty; however, it was quite dry and needed more sauce. The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and informed us about the vegan cheese issue.

Revelstoke is an amazing place but is seriously lacking in vegan options. The VI is no exception. They once had some options but have reduced themselves to one... vegan chilli. Admittingly, it is pretty decent but it really sucks only having one thing to order. Not even the salads are vegan.
I would give this restaurant one star only because the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. Unfortunately, there were only three vegan options available: pizza (which we had to send back), chili, and stir fry (which we did not try, so I cannot comment on).
I ordered the Umami bowl and found it to be delicious and packed with protein from the tofu and lentils. It's recommended to double check with the staff about vegan options, as they may be limited.

I recently tried the watermelon steak at this restaurant and it was incredibly delicious. I have not been able to recreate it at home as successfully as they did here.
I had the Umami shell and it was tasteful and had a good amout of protein (tofu and lenses). can confirm the workers of the vegan options that are limited.
