great breakfast place. in an antidote that is not very vegan/vegetarian friendly, this place is a beautiful surprise. The Tofu Scrambble is delicious and has beautiful pieces of sweet in mix. I like it is fluffy and yellow (tumeric) instead of Bland-Chunks. the hashbrowns are good and the kashi and zucchini pilaf (schmied 7) is a unique side. they also have some veggie lunch items.
We went to smithies today for brunch...Saturday morning 9/7/24. 5 top which turned into a 7 top. Our server Dani was amazing and us feel at home. Food and service are absolutely amazing here. Definitely come back and if you get Dani extra bonus. Great place to have brunch! Highly recommend
been eating here every day for lunch but getting the breakfast special while working in town. this delightful dish is the breakfast quesadilla with a side of mayo for some extra creamy goodness. totally love eating here and appreciate the warm service and clean, fun atmosphere.
Excellent good as always. I've been coming here for years and I absolutely love the chili relleno and homemade cream pies! Really though, I've enjoyed everything I've tried on the menu. The service is pretty consistently friendly. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I had take out of quesadillas and hueovos rancheros. Fresh ingredients and plentiful portions. It was a great find in a town I was just passing through. Will definitely eat here next time I’m around Carbondale.
kudos to village smithy for a vegan tofu cube, veggie green chili and the impossible burger. hopefully they will offer in future more options! Maybe olive oil instead of butter on the toast?
